About

I advise individuals, families, and business owners whose ambitions extend beyond preserving wealth. They seek to preserve continuity–not only of capital, but also of ownership, governance, values, responsibility, and long-term purpose across generations and jurisdictions.

As wealth and complexity grow, the greatest challenge is not a lack of expertise. It is maintaining coherence: ensuring that legal, tax, investment, governance, and strategic decisions remain aligned with a common long-term direction.

My role is not to advise on isolated legal or tax questions. It is to preserve the coherence of the client's long-term architecture of ownership, governance, and capital.

I serve as an independent strategic advisor, helping clients navigate complex decisions, align stakeholders, and integrate expert advice into a coherent framework. I work alongside the client’s trusted advisers and institutions to ensure that individual decisions support broader long-term objectives.

Structures, trusts, foundations, and other ownership and governance arrangements are instruments–not objectives in themselves. Their value lies in supporting sound governance, preserving flexibility, managing risk, and strengthening resilience over time.

With more than twenty years of experience across legal, tax, executive, and board-level roles, I combine technical expertise with practical judgment in complex cross-border situations. My litigation background has shaped my understanding of how decisions and structures perform not only in design, but also under scrutiny, conflict, and changing circumstances.

I hold a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Tax Law from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, am a licensed attorney, and hold a management consulting license focused on strategic advisory.

Where I Take ResponsibilityI typically engage in situations where capital structures, ownership, and long-term interests require alignment, control, and continuity.

Cross-border capital complexity

Coordinating structures and advisors across jurisdictions while maintaining control, transparency, and flexibility.

Ownership and governance alignment

Establishing frameworks that ensure coherent decision-making and long-term strategic direction.

Structures requiring oversight

Trusts, foundations, and holding structures that need ongoing coordination, governance, and control.

Succession and intergenerational transition

Ensuring continuity of control, clarity of roles, and preservation of capital across generations.

Family office structuring and evolution

Designing or refining the architecture of a family office and its advisory ecosystem.

Independent coordination and representation

Acting as a central counterpart to advisors and institutions, safeguarding the client’s position and long-term interests.

Why Clients Work With Me

Independent and aligned

I act as an independent counterpart to all advisors and institutions involved, ensuring alignment and safeguarding the client’s long-term interests.

Control across a fragmented landscape

I coordinate banks, legal counsel, tax advisors, and investment managers, maintaining coherence across decisions, structures, and strategies.

Strategy before structures

Structures follow intent. Governance, clarity, and long-term alignment define the framework within which all technical solutions are implemented.

Cross-border judgment

Experience across jurisdictions allows me to navigate situations where legal, tax, and personal interests intersect under real-world constraints.

Continuity and long-term perspective

I work with clients over extended periods, ensuring that decisions remain consistent, structures hold, and capital transitions across generations.

Selective engagement

I work with a limited number of clients where active involvement, judgment, and long-term alignment are required.

The approach is consistent; the context differsI operate with a consistent approach — ensuring alignment, control, and long-term continuity. The context differs depending on whether capital is concentrated in an operating business or distributed across family structures.
